I've not had time to "explore" too much, but I'm finding that it's all I've wanted and more. They've kept the same interface, but have strengthened WPs capabilities.

Sometimes when I open a .PDF file, the formatting is a little messed up, that's a small detail, though, to me.

As a long-time WordPerfect user, I am especially pleased with the pdf integration. It works smoothly and from my experience flawlessly. WordPerfect gives the user the control over the formatting I want and allows one to make changes without unexpected consequences.

Rating: 5 out of 5 - Word Perfect is best
I have MS Word, Open Office Writer and Word Perfect. I use them all because: 1. I would like my employer to permit most of its employees to switch to Open Office. 2. I find it is best to open some documents with Word. 3. I prefer Word Perfect.

Word Perfect does so many things so well. I don't have to menu down to the function I want. I can hot key there.

Essentially, I believe it is a better product.

It is hard to believe it is two years since Corel released X3. When I found out that the new X4 version had been released, I downloaded the one month demo from Corel. I highly recommend the product.

I don't have much use for anything in the suite except WordPerfect. WordPerfect has always given the user much better control over the formatting of documents, through its "Reveal Codes" function than does Microsoft Word. It can also import documents from Word 2007 and now-forgotten word-processing programs such as WordStar, Ami Pro, and XyWrite III.
